This blog will serve as a technical(ish) post on how to generate dynamic, user-input specific R Markdown documents within a Shiny app. I am posting this guide primarily because I had some difficulty trying to figure this out myself, and couldn’t find any existing posts on the topic on StackOverflow or similar sites.
The impact factor (IF) of an academic journal is a metric used to reflect the yearly average number of citations per article published. It is often used as a proxy for the importance of a journal within its field, with journals having a higher impact factor deemed to be more important than those with lower ones.
As early career researchers, we eventually start publishing articles and showcasing our work to the world. With such exposure comes the occasional request to review other research articles within your area of expertise.
